VACATION RENTALS BY REMAX LOGO WHITE ×

Not a lot of people think, “Halloween? Let’s go to the beach!” But in the town of Rehoboth, we’re changing that. With events and beautiful weather, we encourage you to rethink a Halloween vacation!

Lovely Leaves

While not as famous as Rhode Island or Cape Cod, Delaware’s fall foliage is just as lovely. Wander inland on the highways or look up some scenic trails, as you’ll be here just in time for the best views: the foliage should be its most vibrant in early November!

A New England Hoedown?

Last year, the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company set up a hoedown as a fundraiser. It must have been great, because it’s coming back again! The evening of Thursday, October 26th, enjoy an open bar and plenty of dancing, plus a best-dressed contest. Tickets are $35 per person, but kids under 10 get in for free!

Sea Witch Halloween & Fiddler’s Festival

This is one of the most popular events each year—no wonder it has lasted for 25 years! This year it’s happening for Halloween weekend, Friday the 27th to Sunday the 29th, stretching from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in the Rehoboth Beach/Dewey Beach Resort Area.

The Halloween and Fiddler’s Festival is a family-friendly event that gives smaller children a great time, with events like Friday’s Tyke Bike race on the Boardwalk and the costume parades. Adults enjoy themselves too with the bonfires, live music, and live entertainment. The weekend is topped off with 5k race and costumed pet parade. There’s something for everyone!

All Saints Pipe Organ Spooktacular

While part of the Sea Witch Festival, this bears special mention because nothing fits Halloween like the dramatic, haunting sound of a pipe organ! All Saints Church will be hosting a concert with seasonal music played on the church’s organ at 3 p.m. on Saturday the 28th. Visitors are welcome—in costume or not!
