Near the Lightship Overfalls is also Fort Miles, a fascinating World War II military base built to prevent submarine attacks.
Nestled west of Rehoboth Beach, the Marshtown area is within easy driving distance of Rehoboth Beach’s renowned boardwalk atmosphere. Whether you have kids or you’re just a kid at heart, Funland is a classic Rehoboth Beach boardwalk amusement park that will keep you entertained with thrill rides, carnival games, and arcade games.
Rehoboth Beach also has a smattering of refined restaurants and low-key bars, ranging from Mediterranean cuisine to fresh seafood, often paired with live music.
