Originally gaining fame as a summertime destination, Rehoboth Beach has grown into a thriving community that attracts visitors all year long. The beach and boardwalk, along with surrounding historic attractions and State Parks, initially entice visitors, but it is the unique culture of the community that keeps people coming back. There is a wide variety of restaurants in Rehoboth that offer great quality food along with wonderful service. Although there are many great restaurants to choose from, below are what we think are the best restaurants in Rehoboth.

Henlopen City Oyster House

If you can only dine in one restaurant in Rehoboth Beach, dine at the Henlopen City Oyster House! They were voted the Restaurateur of the Year in 2016 by the Delaware Restaurants Association, and their passion for food is found in every corner of their Rehoboth restaurant. As the name suggests, they specialize in serving oysters, however their menu features a variety of foods. Everything they serve is fresh and sourced locally to ensure the best quality. In addition to great food, they have an amazing selection of wines, brews, and cocktails to accompany their dishes. They do not accept reservations, and a table there is highly desirable, so be sure to come early when you plan to dine at the Henlopen City Oyster House.

Kaisy’s Delights

Looking for a sweet way to start your day? Then you definitely want to check out Kaisy’s Delights! This Austrian-inspired cafe serves breakfast and dessert all day long, and their specialty is the “Kaisy,” an American twist on the traditional Kaiserschmarn pastry. The classic version is served with powdered sugar, but there are savory options available as well. They also serve other European favorites, such as latkes and quiches. Dine in or take your Kaisy to go and enjoy the boardwalk!

Salt Air Restaurant and Bar

This local favorite restaurant in Rehoboth specializes in serving organic and locally served food in a high-end dining atmosphere. Their seasonal farm-to-table menu changes often to reflect what is in season, and features east coast classics such as crab cakes, seafood stew, and more. To pair with the great food is an extensive wine list, cocktail menu, and craft brew selection. You will definitely want to make a reservation here, as wait times on the weekends can be upwards of two or three hours! However, this hidden gem is certainly worth the wait.

With so many amazing restaurants in Rehoboth, it is hard to choose a favorite! Discover a new great place to dine during your next visit to Rehoboth Beach!
