Rehoboth is a fantastic vacation destination with much for visitors to enjoy. However, armed with a few tips from the locals at RE/MAX Realty Group, you can get even more out of your time here! Read on below to learn more tips on visiting Rehoboth!
Ride a Bike or a Bus if You Can
During the busy summer season, the area becomes flooded with traffic. You can skip the hassle of finding parking by renting a bike from one of the local bike rental shops, such as Bikes to Go, Atlantic Cycles, Seagreen Bicycle, Bob’s Bikes, or All Wheels Bike Shop. If your plans don’t work for biking to your destination, fear not; the DART (Delaware Area Rapid Transit) buses can also take you to where you need to go, reaching as far as Lewes, Dewey, and Long Neck. You can even park your car for the day at the transit park and ride station off of Coastal Hwy 1. Paying the nominal $8.00 fee will allow you to come and go from the parking lot freely, as well as board the bus.
Avoid Parking Tickets with the Parkmobile App
If you can’t get around driving through Rehoboth, you can at least make sure you don’t accrue any parking tickets. How? Download the Parkmobile app before you get to the beach so that you can conveniently pay for metered parking from your phone. Ah, the wonders of technology!
Indulge in Free Entertainment on the Rehoboth Boardwalk
Home to lively crowds and family-friendly entertainment, the Rehoboth boardwalk is the ultimate gathering place for visitors and locals to partake in seasonal fun. From people- watching to summertime holiday celebrations, the boardwalk has it all. You can go window shopping at the stores that line the boardwalk, or catch a free live performance or music concert at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand. The options are endless for carving out a day of fun without breaking the bank!
