Visiting Rehoboth Beach for Independence Day? Here are a few events that we wanted you to know about while visiting our beach for the 4th of July. Take a second to check these out: Your Independence Day will be great no matter which one you choose!

Lewes’s Annual Doo-Dah Parade

Before fireworks and night-time festivities, join the Rehoboth community in downtown Lewes for its annual Doo-Daha Parade. The parade will begin at 5pm, and spectators have the choice to either watch from sidewalk or join in. Whatever you decided, it will be a fun way to celebrate Independence Day with your loved ones!

Dewey Beach Fireworks

Catch a fireworks show at Dewey Beach! Fireworks will be set off from a barge in the bay and will be visible from any bar or restaurant along the bayside in Dewey. The show will begin at dusk, around 9:00pm, on the bayside. Parking will not be provided, but the Jolly Trolley will be running! Take a nice walk, find a great spot and enjoy this classic show.

Old Fashioned 4th of July

This free event also takes place in downtown Lewes. Going from 9am-6pm on Second Street, this family-friendly event features children’s games and an Independence Day decorated-boat parade on the canal which starts at 2pm. Make sure your kiddos don’t miss this event!

2nd Annual Red White & Blue 5k & Kiddie K

Join Rehoboth Beach Country Club for a fun-filled morning celebrating the 4th of July at this beautiful country club. This event is a 3.1 mile run/walk through a residential neighborhood surrounding the golf course. Afterwards, join other participants for a post-race party that will take place in the back of the club house! Registration opens up at 7:00 am, the Kiddie K start at 7:55 am, and the adult race begins at 8:00 am. Celebrate Independence Day with this active event!
