See the Sights of Rehoboth Beach
Rehoboth is home to everything from historic buildings and homes to picturesque parks and beaches.
Beaches in the area include Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, and Bethany Beach. At these spots, you can stroll along the boardwalk and enjoy people-watching, free entertainment on local bandstands, and a lovely atmosphere. The beaches themselves are ideal for sunbathing, swimming, and other water-based recreation.
However, there are even more beaches to enjoy in some of our local state parks. Delaware Seashore State Park and Cape Henlopen State Park are each home to their own set of gorgeous beaches, as well as other activities and attractions. Play disc golf, go fishing, and even tour historic places like Fort Miles, the Lightship Overfalls, and the Indian River Life Saving Service Station.
Other historic sites in the area include the Milton historic district, the Lewes historic district, and the Ryves-Holt House (supposedly the oldest house in The First State), as well as museums like the Rehoboth Beach Museum, the Anna Hazzard Museum, the Nanticoke Indian Museum, and the Zwaanendael Museum. These locations provide visitors with a glimpse of local history and culture.
When you’re not resting in your six bedroom vacation rental, have some family fun at local attractions like Funland, Midway Speedway Park, Shell We Bounce, Jungle Jim’s, and Shell We Golf. In these attractions, you and your guests can spend hours playing mini-golf, cooling off on waterslides, racing each other on the go-kart track, and challenging each other to arcade games or bumper boats.
When you get a hankering for some of Rehoboth’s mouthwatering cuisine, make a stop at one of the area’s best restaurants or breweries. Shorebreak Lodge, Henlopen City Oyster House, and Fins Fish & Raw Bar have the best seafood, while Dogfish Head Brewing Co. has the best local craft beer.
No matter where you go or what you do, Rehoboth Beach has fun for all!
