On the boardwalk, you’ll find classic fun such as an arcade and classic food stands serving up ice cream, funnel cake, and more!
Beach Activities
Rehoboth Beach, and neighboring Dewey Beach, offer warm, sandy beaches and great surf to do almost anything you could want to in the water! Sunbathers and casual swimmers love the safer, shallower areas in the water. However, there are also plenty of opportunities for kayaking, boating, parasailing, and even surfing! Those who truly love nature will want to visit one of the many State Parks or take a nature cruise to get out and enjoy the unspoiled nature of the area.
Events
Although the beach may be your primary destination, the fun events all year long will keep you coming back to Rehoboth Beach! In the summer, there is a weekend summer concert series at the bandstand that is great for those who love live music. Nearly every week there is also an athletic event of some sort, such as a 5K fun run or a triathlon on the beach. And of course, there are fireworks on the Fourth of July! In the fall, enjoy the sidewalk sale with local vendors, the sandcastle competition, or the Annual Sea Witch Festival filled with costumes and a parade!
